It has some positive and some negate reviews. main concern is that some stones may fall out and that it may start to turn yellow. However I?ve heard about this from other actual jewelry stores before as well. So i don?t know weather to let that stop me from purchasing it or not. But i do love the ring. i always have preferred princess cut but i fell in love with this one. We are on a tight budget however we can afford to spend more and buy somewhere else like zales. But there isn?t any that look like this for under $1000 anywhere else. any advise? Have you ever purchased a ring at walmart before?

I agree with Garnet Glitter. Some cheap places will make the ring literally out of yellow gold and just dip it/plate it in white gold or rhodium, so when it wears away the yellow is very noticeable. Based on the reviewers complaints about "tarnishing" this is what has been done with this ring. I have a feeling the positive reviewers might have run into problems down the line. A well-made white gold ring will have the gold underneath alloyed with nickel so that it is actually white (although not as bright as the plating of rhodium, which is too expensive to make a whole ring out of). I am also concerned with the complaints about stones falling out? a jeweler will charge about $20 to $30 plus cost of stone to replace it. So I would make sure if you ordered it to have it immediately inspected and that there is a good return policy.

I bought my ring on consignment from a local jeweler and it was a great deal. Also I bought fi?s ring off of overstock.com, it was literally half the price and exactly the same as a ring he liked at Zales.
