# 1 Boxing Rule "protection at all times," even your medical records

I recently saw the movie "Million Dollar Baby, about a woman whose biggest goal in life is a professional boxer to become. Clint Eastwood plays the role of his manager and trainer, and impressive attempt to Boxing's # 1 rule on his game ? PROTECT at any time.

We should all try this rule apply to us as it only lasts for a moment our lives changed drastically. Whether it's a sign on the ice, as when Dr. Robert Atkins, the founder of the Atkins diet, which eventually claimed his life when he hit his head, or other life changing event. We must be ready.

I spent 20 years as a member of the New York State Police and are trained in defensive driving. Simply put, it means change in your situation and the people around you, and we know what someone might do, that could cause an accident. Things like the people from lack of stop signs or red lights to stop the move. Happens andYou may be right, but you could end up ? Dead Right.

We do not live in a vacuum, be aware of the situation around and you will be aware of the fact that people do stupid things, try to be ready for them. This rule also applies to your particular health and your medical records.

One of the leading causes of death in the country is the medical error. When doctors do not have important information about you can be sure that not correct. For most people who have an allergic reaction, they are given Benadryl. In my case, I'm allergic to Benadryl! So, by ensuring that information is crucial in the hands of the EMS people.

Remember, you are responsible for your life ? take ? today!
