The 26-year-old songbird swapped vows with?Sam Cooper at St. James the Great Church in Gloucestershire, England, on?Saturday, according to People. Dad Keith Allen walked her down the aisle.
Carrying a bouquet of white roses, Allen walked down the aisle in a gown by French designer Delphine Manivet that boasted three-quarter lace sleeves and an intricately detailed skirt.
Cooper?popped the question on Christmas Day last year during a romantic vacay, a bright ray of winter sunshine in the face of a tragic loss some weeks before.
Allen had been?excitedly tweeting with fans and friends?about her upcoming nuptials.
When?one fan asked how she was doin,g?she wrote, "I'm GREAT, I'm getting MARRIED EEEEEK !!!!!".
No word whether the?"winds of 275 mph in Gloucestershire" that she read about ("please tell me they're lying," she tweeted) ever materialized, but things otherwise went off without a hitch (luckily she lanced the?thank?you, Twitter?"huge spot" on her nose beforehand). Congrats to the newlyweds!
