Fluff Pets? - EQ2Flames Forum

I've heard this a few times, and some people say that fluff pets block charm or whatever or help out somehow, even if they don't give stats, like deity pets.

Can anyone confirm this or explain to me how this works, or is it some sort of secret inside joke that I've never heard of in my years of playing EQ2.
